• Shift: 12-hour nights (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,460 – $1,540

Required Qualifications

• Active RN license in North Carolina or a Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC) state
• Minimum 1 year recent nursing experience; hospice, palliative care, or related field preferred
• BLS certification (American Heart Association preferred)
• Strong communication, emotional intelligence, and interpersonal skills for end-of-life care
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary hospice team

Key Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered hospice and palliative nursing care to patients and families
• Perform assessment, develop and implement individualized care plans, and evaluate outcomes
• Deliver pain and symptom management, administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Coordinate care with physicians, social workers, chaplains, and other healthcare professionals
• Offer emotional support, education, and bereavement resources to patients and loved ones
• Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR) according to facility and regulatory standards
