- Job Title: CT Technologist (Travel) / Travel CT Tech
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,490 – $2,670
- Location: Leading hospital, Madison, WI 53792 — Madison CT jobs, Wisconsin imaging jobs
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks (May 11, 2026 – August 10, 2026)
- Shift: Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts (Mon–Fri, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM)
- Weekend Rotation: Required (no call)
- Orientation: Approximately 1 week
- Position Type: Travel / Contract, Hospital Imaging, Clinical CT role
Job Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of clinical CT imaging experience as a CT Technologist / CT Tech
- Graduate of an accredited School of Radiologic Technology
- State of Wisconsin Licensed Radiographer
- ARRT Registries in Radiography (R) AND Computed Tomography (CT)
- BLS (AHA) certification
- Epic electronic health record (EHR) / Epic charting experience required
- Preferred: Experience working in Level I or Level II Trauma Centers (trauma imaging experience)
- Telemetry exam required prior to start (must meet strict passing criteria)
- Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
Responsibilities
- Perform routine and advanced CT imaging procedures as a Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist using GE CT, Canon (Insight) systems, and Ulrich injector systems
- Prepare and set up imaging rooms, apply proper isolation precautions, and ensure patient safety
- Provide basic equipment maintenance, participate in QA processes, and troubleshoot image processing and archiving issues
- Work collaboratively with radiology staff to prioritize schedules, triage routine and emergent CT procedures, and support trauma imaging when needed
- Float to multiple units based on staffing needs and provide CT services across the lifespan: neonates, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
- Maintain radiation safety, adhere to hospital imaging protocols, and document procedures accurately in Epic
