• Unit: ICU / ICU Flex Pool (Intensive Care Unit, critical care)
• Start Date: May 5, 2026
• End Date: August 3, 2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM), every other weekend and every other holiday required
• Hours per Week: 36 (guaranteed)
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,040 – $2,150 (estimated travel nursing pay)

Job Requirements / Qualifications

• Active RN license (Iowa or compact state) — Registered Nurse (RN) required
• Minimum 1 year of recent ICU experience as a critical care RN
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Critical Care RN (CCRN) certification preferred
• Ability to float within the ICU Flex Pool as needed
• Compliance with onboarding health and competency requirements (immunizations, drug screen, background check)

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, compassionate nursing care to critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
• Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and responses to treatment using established ICU protocols
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (physicians, respiratory therapy, pharmacists) to develop and implement patient care plans
• Administer medications, manage ventilators, titrate vasoactive drips, and perform advanced ICU clinical procedures as needed
• Educate patients and families on care plans, progress, and discharge instructions
• Maintain a safe, compliant, and supportive environment for patients and staff in a fast-paced critical care setting
