Travel CT Technologist Job Details
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,440 - $2,620
- Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (June 1, 2026 – August 31, 2026)
- Shift: 10-hour varied shifts (no on-call required)
- Hours per Week: 40
- Setting: Acute hospital environment (Hilo, Hawaii)
- Employment Type: Travel / Travel CT Technologist
CT Technologist Qualifications & Job Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years' experience as a CT Technologist / CT Tech in an acute hospital setting
- Current State of Hawaii Radiologic Technologist license as a radiographer (must be obtained by start date if not already held)
- Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Computed Tomography (CT)
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Proof of flu vaccination or facility-approved exemption required prior to contract start
- Experience with Meditech EMR preferred (Meditech), and familiarity with Canon/Toshiba CT units and Vitrea workstation is a plus
- Experience with venipuncture, MIP, MPR, 3D imaging, and procedures such as biopsies, drainages, vascular or cardiac imaging, trauma, or stroke is advantageous
- Must arrive the Thursday before start to attend employee health appointment on Friday
CT Technologist Responsibilities
- Perform routine and specialized CT scans per radiologist protocols as a CT Technologist / CT Tech
- Function independently without supervision in a fast-paced acute hospital environment
- Operate Canon and Toshiba CT units and utilize the Vitrea workstation for image post-processing
- Perform venipuncture and assist with advanced imaging procedures and interventional support
- Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care
- Maintain accurate records and documentation using Meditech EMR
