• Location: King City, CA 93930 — Central Coast California nursing job near vineyards, outdoor recreation, and local amenities
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (Start: 5/11/2026 – End: 8/10/2026)
• Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) — Med/Surg night shift travel nurse role
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,020 – $2,130
• Setting: Med/Surg Adult & Pediatric Units with potential float to Skilled Nursing Department

Requirements / Qualifications

• Active California Registered Nurse (RN) license (required)
• Minimum 1 year recent Med/Surg nursing experience in a hospital or clinical setting
• Current ACLS and PALS certifications
• Experience with Cerner electronic medical records (EMR) required
• Comfort and competency caring for non-critical pediatric patients
• Ability and willingness to float to Skilled Nursing Department as needed

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality Med/Surg patient care to adult and pediatric populations in a community hospital
• Perform ongoing patient monitoring, assessment, and documentation using Cerner EMR
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions per provider orders and hospital policy
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams—physicians, case managers, and ancillary staff—to support optimal patient outcomes
• Float to Skilled Nursing Department when required to meet patient care needs
• Adhere to hospital policies, infection control standards, and safety protocols
