CT Technologist | 13-week travel assignment in Columbus, OH at a Level III Trauma Center and teaching hospital—ARRT (R) and Ohio license required.
Job Details – Travel CT Technologist (Columbus, Ohio)
- Location: Columbus, OH 43203 – Columbus, Ohio CT technologist job in a major medical center near downtown, parks, and dining.
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks (June 1, 2026 – August 31, 2026)
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,010 – $2,160 (travel CT tech pay)
- Schedule: 3x12-hour day shifts (Fri–Sun; 7:00am – 7:30pm)
- Setting: Hospital – Outpatient, Inpatient, Emergency Department, Level III Trauma Center and teaching hospital (radiology/diagnostic imaging)
- Holidays: Rotating holiday coverage required
Job Requirements – CT Technologist / Radiology Technologist
- Minimum 1 year of computed tomography (CT) technologist experience in a hospital or outpatient setting
- Active ARRT (R) certification; Ohio state license required (Ohio CT license)
- Current BLS (American Heart Association) certification
- Experience operating Siemens CT scanners preferred (AS Definition 128-slice, GoTop 128-slice)
- Proficiency with IV starts and contrast media administration (CT contrast)
- Experience performing X-ray procedures (extremities, abdomen/GI, spine/pelvis, head, chest/thorax)
- Epic electronic health record (EHR) / Epic charting experience preferred
- Ability to float to different units within the hospital as needed (inpatient, ED, outpatient)
- Two professional references required (at least one supervisor or manager)
- Seasonal flu vaccine required (medical exemptions only)
Responsibilities – CT / Diagnostic Imaging
- Perform diagnostic CT scans for outpatient, inpatient, and emergency department patients with attention to trauma imaging protocols
- Start IVs and administer iodinated contrast media safely and document contrast use
- Operate and optimize Siemens CT scanners (128-slice equipment experience preferred)
- Perform general radiography/X-ray procedures as needed across hospital units
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in Epic and follow hospital imaging policies
- Collaborate with radiologists, ER staff, and multidisciplinary teams in a Level III Trauma Center and teaching hospital environment
- Float to various units and support rotating holiday coverage as required by the assignment
