• Location: Salem, MA 01970 (Salem, Massachusetts)
• Job Title: Registered Nurse – Telemetry / Cardiac Telemetry Nurse (Travel)
• Unit: Davenport 7 – Medical Cardiology (41-bed Medical Telemetry Unit)
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (Start: 5/17/2026 – End: 8/15/2026)
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,910 – $2,010 (Travel nurse pay)
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Shift: 12-hour shifts (Days, Evenings, or Nights; rotating shifts required for Days, straight Nights available)
• Employment Type: Travel – Telemetry nursing job

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent Telemetry RN experience (cardiac telemetry, telemetry monitoring)
• Current Massachusetts RN License required
• AHA BLS Certification (American Heart Association)
• Proficient in reading and interpreting telemetry strips
• Experience with cardiac drips, TR bands, and high-flow oxygen therapies
• EPIC EMR experience preferred (electronic medical record experience advantageous)
• Ability to float to applicable units as needed to support patient care

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to patients with cardiac, respiratory, metabolic, psychiatric, substance use, GU, and GI conditions
• Continuously monitor and accurately interpret telemetry strips; respond promptly to cardiac events and arrhythmias
• Administer and titrate cardiac drips and manage advanced oxygen therapies per protocol
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (cardiology, respiratory therapy, pharmacy) to deliver patient-centered care
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient progress using EPIC EMR
• Float to other units as required to support staffing and patient care needs
• Maintain clinician-to-patient ratios: 1:4/5 on days and 1:5/6 on evenings/nights
