• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,220 – $2,380
• Location: Los Angeles, CA 90017 (Downtown LA) — California CT jobs / Los Angeles radiology jobs
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (May 4, 2026 – August 3, 2026)
• Shift: Mid Shift, 8-hour evenings (3:00 PM – 11:30 PM), every other weekend required; flexibility to cover morning shifts as needed
• Shifts per Week: 5 shifts per week

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced CT Tech / Computed Tomography Technologist with strong Siemens CT experience to perform a full range of CT exams, support stroke and trauma imaging protocols, and provide high-quality patient care. This travel CT technologist role emphasizes clinical skill, contrast administration, PACS use, and teamwork in a busy hospital setting.

Job Requirements (CT Technologist Qualifications)

• Minimum 2 years recent CT Technologist experience in a hospital setting (Level I Trauma experience preferred)
• Mandatory Siemens CT equipment experience (no exceptions); experience with Philips/GE a plus
• Valid California Radiologic Technologist License at time of submission
• Certifications: ARRT (CT) required; ARRT (R), ARRT Advanced Certification preferred
• BLS (American Heart Association) current
• Experience with Allscripts charting system preferred; competency with PACS and imaging workflows required
• Comfortable working with adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations
• Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions allowed)
• Successful completion of onsite EKG exam (advanced EKG, 80% minimum score)

Primary Responsibilities

• Perform a complete range of CT exams including Code Stroke protocols, CTA (CT Angiography), Abdomen/Pelvis, Chest, Cardiac CT, CT Biopsy/Interventional procedures, Spine, Extremities, and Facial bone studies
• Operate Siemens (required) and Phillips CT equipment; follow vendor-specific protocols and QA procedures
• Perform contrast administration, start peripheral IVs, and monitor patients for reactions per hospital policy
• Support stroke imaging workflows, trauma imaging, and emergent CT needs in the ER and Level I Trauma center
• Conduct specialized procedures: aspirations, biopsies, brain perfusion, CT colonography, CT arthrography, drainage procedures, myelography, radiation therapy planning, transplant studies, and multiplanar reconstruction
• Use PACS and RIS systems to maintain accurate imaging records and ensure timely image distribution to radiologists
• Mentor and assist in training other staff members and technologists as needed
• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care to a diverse community, maintaining professional standards and infection control practices
