- Hours: 36 guaranteed hours per week
- Weekend Rotation: Every other weekend (occasional back-to-back weekends possible)
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,250 – $2,370

Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years recent Level III-IV NICU experience (NICU RN or neonatal nurse)
- Active Washington State RN license (compact license accepted if valid for WA)
- Current BLS and NRP certifications
- Experience with mechanical ventilation and respiratory support (vent management required)
- Skills with trach care (highly preferred), g-tubes, NG/OG tubes, NCPAP, UAC/UVC, and PICC lines
- Medication administration, individualized care planning, and discharge planning to home
- Strong interpersonal skills and a positive, family-centered approach
- First-time travel nurses considered; prior travel nursing experience strongly preferred
Primary Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, evidence-based, family-centered nursing care to neonates in a Level IV NICU
- Manage complex neonatal diagnoses including extreme prematurity (as early as 22 weeks), RDS, NAS, high-risk deliveries, feeders/growers, and surgical patients
- Provide advanced respiratory support: ventilator management, NCPAP, and non-invasive modalities
- Perform and manage procedures such as trach care, g-tube/NG/OG tube management, UAC/UVC care, and PICC line management
- Develop, implement, and document individualized care plans in EPIC EMR
- Coordinate multidisciplinary care and family education, including discharge planning to home
- Support unit needs as required (may float to ER as a sitter on rare occasions)
