• Shifts: 12-hour night shifts (3 shifts per week) — night shift RN
• Hours per Week: 36
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,750 - $1,840

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (must be eligible to practice in Georgia)
• BLS Certification (required prior to first shift)
• ACLS Certification (required prior to first shift)
• Minimum of 1 year of bedside clinical experience (2 years highly desired) — bedside RN experience preferred
• Experience in LTAC, long-term acute care, or similar acute care settings preferred

Responsibilities / LTAC RN Duties

• Perform comprehensive nursing assessments on all patients within 8 hours of admission to develop individualized care plans — clinical assessments and patient care
• Supervise Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), and orientees
• Provide direct patient care utilizing the nursing process of assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating
• Participate in patient rehabilitation programs and interdisciplinary team conferences — collaborate with PT/OT, respiratory therapy, and physicians
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately and in a timely manner
• Initiate discharge planning and provide patient/family education from day of admission
• Promote patient and employee safety by adhering to hospital safety policies and procedures
• Delegate tasks appropriately and provide direction and training to ancillary staff
• Maintain effective communication with physicians, charge nurses, and other team members
• Contribute to a positive and efficient work environment through teamwork and professionalism — strong teamwork and clinical communication skills required
