- Shifts: 12-hour night shifts (3 shifts per week) — night shift RN
- Hours per Week: 36
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,750 - $1,840
Job Requirements
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (must be eligible to practice in Georgia)
- BLS Certification (required prior to first shift)
- ACLS Certification (required prior to first shift)
- Minimum of 1 year of bedside clinical experience (2 years highly desired) — bedside RN experience preferred
- Experience in LTAC, long-term acute care, or similar acute care settings preferred
Responsibilities / LTAC RN Duties
- Perform comprehensive nursing assessments on all patients within 8 hours of admission to develop individualized care plans — clinical assessments and patient care
- Supervise Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs), and orientees
- Provide direct patient care utilizing the nursing process of assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating
- Participate in patient rehabilitation programs and interdisciplinary team conferences — collaborate with PT/OT, respiratory therapy, and physicians
- Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately and in a timely manner
- Initiate discharge planning and provide patient/family education from day of admission
- Promote patient and employee safety by adhering to hospital safety policies and procedures
- Delegate tasks appropriately and provide direction and training to ancillary staff
- Maintain effective communication with physicians, charge nurses, and other team members
- Contribute to a positive and efficient work environment through teamwork and professionalism — strong teamwork and clinical communication skills required
