• Setting: Hospital Clinical Laboratory
• Start Date: May 10, 2026
• End Date: August 8, 2026
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: Night Shift, 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM; every other weekend required
• Hours per Week: 40
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,810 – $1,940

Job Requirements – Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT)

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) in a hospital or clinical laboratory setting
• Active Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT) certification (ASCP, AMT, or state equivalent preferred)
• Ability to work night shifts and every other weekend (night shift lab tech and hospital schedule experience preferred)
• Completion of required onboarding health screenings and documentation: 2 Step PPD or IGRA, COVID-19 vaccine, MMR, Hepatitis B, Influenza, Varicella, physical/health statement, drug screen, and color vision test
• Successful completion of background check and competency testing as required by the hospital

Responsibilities – Clinical Laboratory & Hospital Lab Technician

• Perform a variety of laboratory tests and procedures accurately and efficiently to support patient care in a hospital clinical laboratory
• Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory analyzers and equipment according to established protocols
• Ensure timely and accurate reporting of laboratory results to clinicians and the electronic medical record
• Adhere to safety, quality control, and regulatory guidelines (CLIA, OSHA, and hospital policies)
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to deliver high-quality laboratory services
• Maintain detailed, organized records of laboratory activities, quality control logs, and documentation for audits
