Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,520 - $2,710
• Location: Modesto, CA 95355 (California hospital pharmacy)
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (May 29, 2026 – August 28, 2026)
• Shift: Night shifts, 10 hours (21:00 - 07:30), 7 on/7 off schedule with alternating weekends
• Hours per Week: 40
• Employment Type: Travel Pharmacist, On-Site, Inpatient Pharmacist position

Required Qualifications (Pharmacist Requirements)

• California Board of Pharmacy RPH License (required at time of submission)
• Minimum 2 years of hospital or inpatient pharmacy experience (inpatient pharmacist, clinical pharmacy)
• Epic electronic health record experience preferred (Epic medication management/documentation)
• Current AHA or American Red Cross certifications (BLS/CPR) in hand at submission
• Ability to provide accurate 7-year work history verification
• Available for lab work within 3–5 days of signing
• Two professional references obtained within the last year
• Must be able to work alternating weekends; only one holiday off approved during contract
• Travelers must meet the 50-mile travel requirement

Key Responsibilities – Inpatient Pharmacy & Clinical Duties

• Provide comprehensive inpatient pharmacy services during night shift coverage as a hospital pharmacist
• Ensure accurate medication dispensing, verification, and clinical review for hospitalized patients (medication safety, medication reconciliation)
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize medication therapy and patient outcomes
• Maintain regulatory compliance with hospital policies, California state pharmacy law, and safety standards
• Utilize Epic for medication management, documentation, and communication with clinical teams
• Participate in orientation, complete required e-learning modules, and support pharmacy workflow improvements and quality initiatives
