Pharmacist Travel Job Opportunity

Location: Ontario, California
Employment Type: Travel
Contract Length: 13 weeks

Job Summary

Serve as the Pharmacist in Charge, responsible for supervision of daily pharmacy department activities and staff management including scheduling and assignments.
Perform dispensing and clinical pharmacy functions.
Develop and implement systems to ensure regulatory compliance, quality assurance, performance improvement, and efficient staff workflows.
Act as a resource for staff education, orientation, and standard operating procedures.
Managerial role requiring availability by phone for issues outside of scheduled hours.

Work Schedule

Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
No on-call shifts

Required Qualifications

Valid Pharmacist license in California
Minimum 5 years of experience as a Pharmacist, including experience within the last year
Experience in Manager roles
BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association

Additional Information

40 hours per week
