CT Technologist (CT Tech) – Weekend Mids | 13-Week Travel Contract – Huntersville, NC

CT Technologist (ARRT CT) needed for a 13-week travel CT tech contract in Huntersville, NC (near Charlotte & Lake Norman). Weekend mids; Siemens CT experience and EPIC charting required.

Job Details

• Position: CT Technologist / Computed Tomography Technologist (Travel)
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,640 – $1,760
• Location: Huntersville, NC 28078 (Charlotte-area travel CT job)
• Facility: 151-bed community hospital
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: Weekend Mids – Saturday, Sunday & Monday (12:00 PM – 1:30 AM)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Orientation: Approx. 64 hours (3 days corporate, 1 week facility/precepted)
• Call/Float: None
• Equipment: Siemens 128 Definition and Siemens Force 256 CT scanners

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist / CT Tech experience in a hospital setting
• ARRT (CT) certification required
• NC state license or Compact license required at time of start (North Carolina travel CT jobs)
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
• Competency in peripheral IV insertions
• Experience with adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients
• Proficiency with EPIC electronic charting system
• Experience performing CT procedures including Abdomen/Pelvis, Head/Neck, Chest, Spine, MSK, CTAs, Biopsies/Aspirations, Colonography, CT Arthrography, Drainage, and Multiplanar Reconstruction
• Experience operating Siemens CT platforms (128 Definition, Force 256) preferred
• Fully available for orientation and schedule changes
• Seasonal flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions considered)

Key Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT scans and interventional CT procedures for inpatient, outpatient, ED, and ICU patients
• Prepare, verify, and administer contrast media safely; monitor patients for reactions
• Start peripheral IVs when required and maintain patient safety throughout procedures
• Operate and troubleshoot Siemens CT scanners to ensure diagnostic image quality
• Document procedures and patient information accurately in EPIC
• Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care
• Participate in orientation, ongoing training, and adhere to hospital policies and fatigue guidelines
