Job Details

• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (May 18, 2026 – August 15, 2026)
• Position: Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) – Travel Nurse / Perioperative RN
• Shift: 12-hour days, 3 shifts per week (call required; details discussed during interview)
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,680 – $1,770 (competitive travel nurse pay)
• Setting: Operating Room – Adult & Pediatric (Pediatric OR experience required)
• Electronic Medical Record: Epic (Epic EMR experience preferred)
• Location: Fort Myers, FL 33908 (Southwest Florida / Lee County)

Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Room RN experience; pediatric OR experience required
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the U.S.
• BLS certification required
• CNOR certification preferred (perioperative certification)
• Prior travel nursing experience highly preferred
• Degree accreditation must be on profile, or 5 years of experience required
• Must be willing to float to other sister campuses as needed
• Must live at least 50 miles from facility (radius rule for travel assignments)

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality perioperative nursing care to adult and pediatric patients as an OR RN
• Perform scrub and circulating roles and support the surgical team across a variety of cases
• Assist with a wide range of surgical specialties, including ENT, General, Vascular, Endovascular, Robotics, Dental, GYN, Ortho, Spine, and Neurosurgery
• Participate in call rotation as required
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Document care accurately using Epic EMR
• Float to other units or campuses as needed and adapt to varied perioperative environments
• Contribute to a positive, inclusive team culture and patient-centered care
