Job Details

• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (May 11, 2026 – August 10, 2026)
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,490 – $2,670
• Setting: Cardiac Catheterization Lab / Cath Lab (interventional cardiology)
• Shift: 4x10-hour day shifts (07:00 – 17:30)
• On-Call: 7–8 call shifts per month, including 1 weekend
• Caseload: Varies, 4–16 cases per day
• Scrubs & Parking: Provided; free onsite parking
• Location: Downtown St. Louis, MO — easy access to parks, dining, and entertainment

Qualifications / Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of documented experience as a Rad Tech / CT Technologist in a Cardiac Cath Lab or interventional cardiology setting
• ARRT (Radiologic Technologist) or RCIS (Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist) certification required
• Valid BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• Epic charting experience required — strong electronic health record (EHR) skills preferred
• Ability to scrub and circulate during cardiac procedures
• COVID-19 vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
• Willingness to float within scope to meet facility needs
• Pending state license accepted; travelers must live at least 70 miles from the facility

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and interventional procedures in a busy Cardiac Cath Lab, including left and right heart catheterizations, PCI (percutaneous coronary intervention), TAVR support, STEMI activations, and device cases
• Scrub and circulate during procedures while maintaining sterile technique and patient safety
• Monitor patients, assist with arrhythmia induction, cardiac mapping, and device insertions (pacemakers, ICDs)
• Operate and troubleshoot specialized imaging and cath lab equipment (GE, Philips and other major vendors preferred)
• Document procedures, images, and patient care in Epic and other required systems
• Participate in on-call rotation and respond to emergent cases as needed
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (cardiologists, nurses, techs) to deliver high-quality patient care
• Float to other units within scope as required by facility staffing needs
