Location: Anchorage, AK 99508 (Anchorage home health)
Assignment Type: Travel / Contract – Travel RN / Homecare RN
Duration: 13 weeks (May 4, 2026 – August 2, 2026)
Shift: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (8-hour days)
Hours per Week: 40
On-call/Weekend Requirements: None
Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,700 – $2,840

Qualifications / Job Requirements

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the U.S.; Alaska RN license or compact RN preferred
Minimum 1 year of home health nursing experience required (homecare, home health, or community nursing)
Experience with HCHB (Homecare Homebase) EMR preferred
Strong clinical assessment, documentation, and communication skills
Ability to work independently in patients' homes and meet productivity expectations (30 points)

Key Responsibilities

Provide skilled nursing care to patients in their homes across Anchorage and surrounding areas (home health nurse duties)
Perform comprehensive patient assessments, develop individualized care plans, and implement nursing interventions
Deliver chronic disease management, wound care, medication administration, and patient education to promote optimal outcomes
Accurately document all care and interactions using HCHB EMR and maintain high-quality clinical records
Collaborate with interdisciplinary home health team members, including therapists and case managers
Educate patients and families on disease processes, medications, self-care techniques, and safety in the home
