MRI Technologist (Travel) – 8-Week Contract | Modesto & Stockton, CA

Travel MRI Technologist – 8-week contract in Modesto & Stockton, CA; ARRT (MR) and California Diagnostic Radiologic Technology license required. Join our radiology team, perform Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) exams on GE Voyager equipment, and enjoy competitive weekly pay while working across three Central Valley facilities.

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $3,157 - $3,508
• Contract Length: 8 weeks
• Start Date: May 26, 2026
• End Date: July 18, 2026
• Shift: 3 x 12-hour shifts (Friday–Sunday preferred; some flexibility for PTO coverage)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Locations: Float between three sites in Modesto and Stockton (Central Valley, CA)
• Equipment: GE Voyager MRI
• Patient Volume: 18–22 patients per day
• Tech Aide Support: Yes
• Work Setting: On-site clinical imaging/radiology

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as an MRI Technologist / MRI Tech in a clinical imaging or hospital radiology setting
• Active California Diagnostic Radiologic Technology license
• Active ARRT (MR) certification
• Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• Strong patient care, safety, and communication skills for diverse populations

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI scans and protocols using GE Voyager MRI across three Central Valley facilities
• Provide high-quality magnetic resonance imaging for approximately 18–22 patients per day
• Float between Modesto and Stockton locations according to the schedule
• Collaborate with tech aides, radiology staff, and physicians to maintain efficient workflow
• Ensure patient safety, comfort, and proper positioning throughout procedures
• Follow facility and regulatory radiology protocols and maintain documentation
