Job Details
- Location: Denver, Colorado 80220 — Denver healthcare jobs, Colorado surgical tech jobs; enjoy city life and easy access to the Rockies.
- Contract Length: 13 weeks (Start: 5/4/2026 – End: 8/3/2026)
- Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) — Travel night shift surgical tech opportunity
- Weekly Hours: 36
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,120 – $1,200
- Setting: Labor & Delivery, Triage, Antepartum — obstetric surgical tech / perioperative environment
Job Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of current acute care hospital experience as a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) in Labor & Delivery
- NBSTSA (or equivalent) and DORA certifications — must be active and in hand
- BLS certification (AHA preferred)
- Travel and PACU experience preferred — travel surgical tech and travel healthcare experience a plus
- Strong teamwork, flexibility, and ability to perform in a fast-paced obstetrics operating room
Responsibilities
- Assist in a variety of procedures including vaginal and cesarean deliveries (C-section), D&C, hysterectomies, postpartum tubal ligations, cerclage placement, and external cephalic versions
- Support high-risk OB cases in a fast-paced Labor & Delivery environment
- Collaborate with obstetricians, anesthesiologists, nurses, and multidisciplinary teams to provide exceptional patient care
- Maintain and prepare surgical instruments, sterile field, and OR equipment; ensure strict adherence to infection control standards
- Document procedures and patient information accurately using Meditech EMR and follow hospital documentation protocols
