Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN) – Night Shift | Philadelphia, PA (Local Contract)

Local 8-week contract for experienced Labor & Delivery RNs (BSN, 2+ years) — night shift, competitive weekly pay, on-site in Philadelphia, PA.

Job Details

Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,250 – $2,370
Location: On-site — Philadelphia, PA 19107 (Philadelphia L&D nursing jobs / Pennsylvania nursing jobs)
Contract Duration: 8 weeks (local contract)
Hours per Week: 36
Shift: Night shift — 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Schedule: Every other weekend required
Number of Openings: 2

Job Requirements

Minimum 2 years recent Labor & Delivery nursing experience
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
Active RN license in Pennsylvania
Ability to work night shifts and every other weekend

Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, evidence-based labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum care to mothers and newborns
Monitor patient progress and fetal status, administer medications, and assist with delivery-related procedures
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams — obstetrics, anesthesia, neonatology, and support staff — to ensure safe, effective outcomes
Educate patients and families on postpartum care, breastfeeding, and newborn health
Maintain accurate clinical documentation and uphold hospital policies and quality standards
