Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,980 – $2,120
• Location: Cumming, GA 30041 (Cumming, Georgia)
• Setting: Hospital – CT Imaging Unit / Computed Tomography
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (May 18, 2026 – August 15, 2026)
• Shift: 10-hour evening shifts, Monday–Thursday (12:00pm – 10:30pm)
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
• Travel Position: Travel CT technologist (no local candidates within 50 miles)

Qualifications / Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent experience as a CT Technologist in a hospital setting
• Active ARRT CT certification (ARRT-CT)
• Current AHA BLS certification
• Proven ability to perform a wide range of CT imaging procedures, including Angio Coronary, CT-guided biopsies, abscess drains, Pre-Watchman protocols, and ablation protocols
• Experience with contrast administration, radiation safety and CT protocol optimization
• Familiarity with PACS, electronic medical records, and departmental documentation standards

Key Responsibilities

• Perform an average of 130 CT exams per day in a fast-paced, 24-hour hospital environment while maintaining quality and safety
• Conduct advanced and interventional CT procedures such as Angio Coronary studies, CT-guided biopsies, abscess drains, and ablation planning
• Provide compassionate patient care, ensuring patient safety, comfort, and clear communication throughout imaging procedures
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver accurate diagnostic imaging services
• Maintain accurate exam records, adhere to hospital policies, and follow regulatory standards for radiation safety and infection control
• Troubleshoot CT scanner issues and coordinate with imaging service teams and biomedical engineering as needed
