Job Details
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks
- Location: Anderson, SC 29621 (Anderson County, Upstate South Carolina)
- Setting: Hospital / Inpatient Radiology
- Shift: Nights, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM); every other weekend required
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,850 – $1,990 (competitive for CT travel jobs)
- Start Date: May 4, 2026
- On-call: Yes (details provided during interview)
- Orientation: 16 hours
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of CT experience required (hospital or acute care preferred)
- ARRT certification required (CT specialty certification not required)
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required
- Pending South Carolina state license accepted (must be obtained prior to start)
- COVID-19 and seasonal flu vaccines required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
- Comfortable working with patient populations from neonate through geriatric
- Experience with Epic electronic health record preferred
- First-time travel CT technologists are welcome to apply
Key Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality CT imaging and diagnostic scans (contrast and non-contrast) for abdomen, pelvis, chest, head, musculoskeletal, and other studies
- Operate GE Maxima CT and other CT imaging equipment in a hospital radiology department
- Prepare, calculate, and administer contrast media safely, following protocol and monitoring patients
- Start peripheral IVs as needed and adhere to isolation precautions and PPE protocols
- Accurately document procedures, patient history, and imaging records in Epic
- Participate in on-call rotation and work scheduled weekends as required
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including respiratory therapy, radiologists, and unit support staff to ensure timely patient care
- Complete required online modules and competency documentation prior to assignment start
