Travel Nurse Job Details

• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (Start: 5/17/2026 – End: 8/15/2026)
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,910 – $2,010
• Hours per Week: Scheduled for 36 hours per week (3 x 12-hour shifts), with 35 hours guaranteed.
• Shift: Rotating schedule (combination of days, evenings, and nights; 50% of shifts will be evenings or nights)
• Location: Boston, MA 02114 — Boston psychiatric nursing job / travel nursing job
• Type: Travel, On-Site (Travel RN / Travel Nurse)
• Guaranteed Hours: 35 per week
• Scheduling: Every other weekend and every other holiday required

Psychiatric RN Job Requirements

• Active RN license
• At least 1 year of nursing experience required
• Psychiatric nursing experience preferred (any amount) — behavioral health or mental health experience a plus
• Medicine experience preferred (any amount)
• IV therapy and phlebotomy skills preferred
• BLS certification required
• Ability to work rotating shifts, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays

Responsibilities – Inpatient Psychiatric Nursing / Behavioral Health

• Deliver compassionate, evidence-based care to patients with both psychiatric and medical needs
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Administer medications and monitor patient responses
• Perform IV therapy and phlebotomy as needed
• Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner
• Participate in patient and family education and discharge planning
• Maintain a safe, therapeutic environment for all patients in the inpatient psychiatric unit
