  • Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM), every other weekend required
  • Guaranteed Hours: 35 hours per week
  • Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,460 – $1,570

Job Requirements

  • Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification
  • At least 1 year of experience as a Respiratory Therapist in a hospital setting
  • Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and every other weekend
  • Strong clinical skills and ability to work independently in acute care
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Experience with mechanical ventilation/ventilator management and ABG interpretation is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality respiratory care to patients in a hospital environment, supporting pulmonary and critical care needs
  • Administer oxygen therapy, aerosol treatments, and other respiratory interventions, including ventilator management and weaning support
  • Monitor and assess patient respiratory status, document care provided, and communicate changes to the interdisciplinary team
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
  • Respond to emergency situations and provide critical respiratory support as needed (code response, rapid response)
  • Maintain, troubleshoot, and ensure proper use of respiratory equipment and ventilators
