• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (May 28, 2026 – August 27, 2026)
• Role: Radiology Technologist / Diagnostic Imaging Technologist (Travel Radiology)
• Setting: 25-bed Critical Access Hospital
• Location: Woodstock, VA 22664 — Shenandoah Valley, Virginia (travel radiology job)
• Shift: 12-hour days (Saturday, Sunday, and Monday, 9:45 AM – 10:15 PM)
• Weekly Guaranteed Hours: 36
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,630 – $1,750
• On-Call Requirements: None
• EMR: EPIC
• Dress Code: Caribbean Blue Scrubs

Job Requirements / Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Radiology Technologist or X-ray Technologist in a clinical setting
• Completion of an AMA-accredited Radiology Technology program
• Current ARRT (R) registration
• Active Virginia Radiologic Technologist License (or eligibility) — ideal for candidates seeking Virginia radiology jobs
• BLS Certification (AHA approved)
• Competence performing radiographic examinations and procedures for patients of all ages (neonate through geriatric)
• C-arm experience required

Responsibilities — Diagnostic Imaging

• Perform diagnostic radiologic examinations and radiography procedures (X-ray) for patients of all ages
• Deliver age-appropriate patient care using knowledge of human growth and development
• Manage workflow and scheduling to minimize patient wait times and improve department efficiency
• Explain procedures, obtain informed consent, and ensure patient comfort and safety throughout exams
• Adapt positioning and protocols to meet patient condition, size, or anatomy
• Review physician orders for medical necessity and clinical indications
• Accurately document and distribute imaging results using HIS, RIS, and PACS systems
• Follow hospital and departmental policies, infection control procedures, and radiation safety guidelines
• Assist in training students and new personnel; participate in ongoing professional development and continuing education
• Perform other duties as assigned by the manager or director
