Job Details
- Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,380 - $2,550
- Location: Aberdeen, WA 98520 — Aberdeen, Washington healthcare / Washington radiology job
- Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (travel CT technologist assignment)
- Shift: Monday to Friday, 3:00 PM – 11:30 PM (8-hour evening shifts)
- Hours: 40 hours per week
- Setting: Hospital Radiology Department — computed tomography (CT) role
- On-call: Required (participate in hospital on-call rotation)
Qualifications / Requirements
- Graduate of an approved AMA school of Radiology or equivalent radiologic technology program
- Registered ARRT (Radiologic Technologist); CT certification or registry preferred
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist (2 years diagnostic radiology experience preferred)
- Strong knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and CT imaging protocols
- Ability to safely lift and transport patients and equipment (up to 40 pounds)
- Good stamina, flexibility, manual dexterity, and motor skills
- Computer proficiency and familiarity with PACS and radiology information systems (RIS)
Key Responsibilities
- Perform computerized tomography procedures, including diagnostic and invasive CT procedures under the direction of the Radiology Manager and Radiologist
- Position and instruct patients for CT scans; ensure patient safety and comfort during CT exams
- Operate Toshiba Aquilon 64 slice CT scanner and related specialized equipment
- Set and determine technical exposure factors; ensure accurate labeling, documentation and image quality
- Apply proper body mechanics when transporting patients and equipment; maintain a safe work environment
- Demonstrate sound clinical judgment, decision-making, and adherence to hospital policies and procedures
- Provide excellent patient-centered customer service consistent with hospital standards
- Participate in on-call rotation and collaborate with radiology team members
