Contract Duration: 13 weeks (May 18, 2026 – August 17, 2026)
Schedule: 4x10-hour day shifts (7:00am – 5:30pm, day off after call) OR 5x8-hour (Mon–Fri, 7:00am – 3:30pm)
Hours per Week: 40
Call: One night per week and every 5th weekend
Float: Must be willing to float to other qualified units

Required Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of interventional radiology / special procedures experience
Neuro work setting experience preferred (neuro endovascular procedures, stroke center)
Previous travel assignment experience required (travel radiologic technologist)
1 year EPIC EMR experience required; strong documentation skills in EPIC
Certificates required: ARRT(R) - Radiography (ARRT R), BLS & ACLS
Valid South Carolina Radiologic Technologist license
ARRT VI (Vascular-Interventional) certification preferred
Experience with Omnicell medication systems preferred
Flu vaccine required (no exemptions)

Key Responsibilities

Perform advanced neuro endovascular/interventional radiology procedures: mechanical thrombectomy, cerebral angiograms, carotid stent placements, cerebral aneurysm coiling
Provide patient monitoring and moderate sedation support during procedures; monitor vitals and ensure patient safety
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (neurosurgery, interventional radiology, nursing, PT/OT, respiratory therapy, pharmacy, social work)
Float to other qualified units as needed to support department operations
Accurately document all patient care and procedure details in EPIC EMR
Participate in call rotation (one night/week and every 5th weekend) to support the comprehensive stroke center
Follow hospital and department protocols, including infection control and safety standards
