• Schedule: Every other weekend and holiday rotation required

Job Requirements

• Current Ohio Registered Nurse (RN) license required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association required
• Minimum 1 year of Med/Surg/Telemetry RN experience preferred (Telemetry nurse experience preferred)
• Proficiency with telemetry monitoring, cardiac rhythm recognition and basic EKG interpretation preferred
• Travel nurse applicants must NOT reside within a 50-mile radius of Cleveland, OH (standard travel nurse restriction).
• Ability to pass background check and required hospital onboarding (standard for travel nursing roles)

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to Med/Surg and Telemetry patients in a float pool setting (telemetry nurse duties)
• Continuously monitor and accurately interpret telemetry data and cardiac rhythms to ensure patient safety
• Recognize and escalate arrhythmias and acute changes in patient condition to the interdisciplinary team
• Document patient assessments, interventions, telemetry findings, and outcomes accurately in the electronic health record (EHR)
• Collaborate with physicians, charge nurses, case managers, and allied health professionals to coordinate patient care
• Participate in weekend and holiday rotations as scheduled
