Job Details
- Assignment Length: 13 weeks
- Setting: Hospital radiology, Level I Trauma Center (acute care / high-acuity imaging)
- Location: Boston, MA 02111 — Boston CT technologist job / Massachusetts imaging jobs
- Shift: 8-hour nights, Monday–Thursday, 10:00pm–7:00am (Night Shift)
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,340 – $2,510
- Start Date: ASAP
- On-call: No on-call required
Requirements / Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist (CT Tech), preferably in Level I trauma or acute care radiology
- ARRT (CT) certification required
- BLS (AHA) certification required
- Strong hands-on experience with Siemens CT scanners (syngo.via, Force, Definition 64-slice, AS20 with interventional package)
- Proficiency in CT post-processing (Siemens syngo.via) and CT imaging workflow
- Excellent IV start skills preferred; ability to manage trauma and emergent cases
- Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary hospital environment
Key Responsibilities
- Perform CT scans across a broad patient population, including trauma, acute stroke, and high-acuity cases
- Operate Siemens CT equipment and complete advanced post-processing using syngo.via
- Collaborate with radiologists, emergency medicine, and acute care teams to deliver high-quality imaging results
- Maintain accurate patient documentation and imaging records using Cerner charting system
- Ensure patient safety, comfort, and proper positioning during CT procedures
- Demonstrate strong IV start skills and adapt to urgent clinical needs in a trauma setting
