Job Details

• Location: Dubuque, IA 52001 (Dubuque, Iowa) – Travel CT technologist job
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (May 17, 2026 – August 15, 2026)
• Setting: Hospital – CT Scan Unit (radiology / medical imaging)
• Shift: 12-hour days (varied: 6:00 AM–6:30 PM, 6:30 AM–7:00 PM, or 7:00 AM–7:30 PM)
• Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
• On-Call: Every 4th weekend (6:00 AM–6:30 PM)
• Holiday Rotation: Every 4th holiday
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,830 – $1,970

Requirements / Qualifications

• Active CT Technologist certification (ARRT-CT preferred or state equivalent)
• At least 1 year of recent CT technologist experience in a hospital or acute care setting
• Ability to work varied 12-hour day shifts and participate in on-call/holiday rotations
• Completion of required onboarding health screenings and competency testing
• Strong communication, patient care, and teamwork skills
• Familiarity with CT scanner operation, contrast administration protocols, and radiation safety

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality CT scans (head, chest, abdomen/pelvis, CTA, etc.) in accordance with physician orders and hospital protocols
• Ensure patient safety, comfort, and appropriate contrast administration during imaging procedures
• Maintain accurate patient records, image documentation, and PACS/radiology information system entries
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals in the radiology department
• Participate in on-call and holiday rotations as scheduled and respond to emergent imaging requests
• Adhere to hospital policies, regulatory compliance, and radiation safety standards
