• Duration: 13 weeks
• Hours: 36 hours per week
• Shift: 12-hour shifts (3pm – 3am or 3am – 3pm)
• Dress Code: Caribbean Blue scrubs
• Orientation: Mandatory 3-day orientation (Mon–Wed, week 1)

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of ICU RN experience (cardiac ICU, progressive care, or CVICU experience preferred)
• Current Indiana RN license or compact RN license (eligible for Indiana practice)
• BLS (AHA) and ACLS (AHA) required
• Competency in radial and arterial sheath management
• Experience with ventilated patients, ventilator management, and cardiac drips/gtt titration
• Proficiency with EPIC charting and Pyxis medication administration
• Strong assessment skills, telemetry interpretation, and hemodynamic monitoring experience

Key Responsibilities

• Provide intensive and progressive cardiac nursing care for post-procedure patients, myocardial infarction, and device implant patients
• Manage radial and arterial sheaths (removal assistance available) and perform accurate hemodynamic assessments
• Administer and titrate cardiac gtts and vasoactive infusions per protocol
• Care for ventilated patients, monitor respiratory and cardiac status, and coordinate ventilator-related interventions
• Float to like units and progressive care units as needed to support staffing and patient care
• Educate patients and families on cardiac health, recovery plans, and device care
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary cardiovascular team to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care
