Job Details

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,030 - $2,190 (competitive travel PT pay)
• Location: Pensacola, FL and patient homes in Gulf Breeze to Destin
• Role: Travel Physical Therapist / Home Health Physical Therapist
• Employment Type: Travel Contract (13 weeks)
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
• Shift: 8-hour shifts, Monday–Friday (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM)
• Dress Code: Royal blue scrubs or docker pants with Polo-type shirt
• Travel: Daily travel required to patient homes across the Pensacola to Destin corridor

Qualifications / Job Requirements

• Associate's Degree in Physical Therapy (minimum education requirement)
• Florida Licensed Physical Therapist preferred (PT license); out-of-state licenses considered per facility requirements
• OASIS proficiency required — experience with home health documentation and OASIS assessments
• Minimum 1 year of experience in physical therapy, home health, outpatient, or rehabilitation settings
• Reliable travel availability within the Gulf Breeze to Destin area (daily travel)
• Strong clinical documentation, time management, and patient education skills

Responsibilities — Travel PT / Home Health

• Perform comprehensive physical therapy assessments and develop individualized rehab care plans in both facility and home settings
• Complete a minimum of 6 patient points per day while maintaining high-quality clinical care
• Use OASIS for accurate home health documentation, care planning, and progress tracking
• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to improve mobility, strength, balance, and functional independence
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, caregivers, and family members to achieve optimal patient outcomes
• Deliver patient education and support to encourage adherence to rehabilitation goals and safe home environments
• Maintain timely, accurate clinical documentation and compliance with agency policies during travel assignments
• Travel to multiple patient locations within a shift as required to meet caseload needs
