Travel Med-Surg Registered Nurse (RN) opportunity in Uniontown, PA — 13-week assignment, EPIC charting, 12-hour night shifts, $1,930–$2,030/week. Join a supportive acute care team serving the Laurel Highlands region.

• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,930 - $2,030
• Location: Uniontown, PA 15401 (Fayette County, Laurel Highlands)
• Assignment Duration: 13 weeks
• Shift: 12-hour nights, weekends as scheduled
• Hours per Week: 36 hours guaranteed
• Care Setting: Acute care, Medical-Surgical Units (1W & 2E)
• Charting System: EPIC (EPIC experience preferred)
• Self-Scheduling: Available

Required Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license or willingness to obtain Pennsylvania licensure
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of recent Med/Surg RN experience in an acute care setting
• Comfortable caring for both 'clean' and 'dirty' patients, including COVID-19 cases
• Ability to float to other Med/Surg units as needed
• Copy of unexpired driver's license required for submission

Primary Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to post-surgical, orthopedic, pneumonia, dialysis, palliative, hospice, and chemotherapy patients
• Manage typical Med/Surg patient ratios of 1:6-7 while maintaining safe, patient-centered care
• Administer medications including Heparin and provide comfort measures as needed (no cardiac drips)
• Collaborate with clinical managers, resource nurses, and CNAs; note that CNAs are not scheduled on night shifts
• Document all patient care accurately using the EPIC electronic medical record
• Participate in weekend and holiday rotations as scheduled and adapt to unit needs
