Job Details

• Location: Flemington, NJ 08822 (Hunterdon County)
• Position: ER Registered Nurse / Emergency Department Nurse
• Setting: Emergency Department (ED) — acute care / critical care nursing
• Start Date: June 2, 2026
• Shifts Per Week: 1 (Per Diem)
• Shift Duration: 12-hour evenings (4p-4a or 8p-8a)
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $600 - $666 (competitive per diem pay)
• Contract Type: Per Diem (minimum commitment: 2 shifts per month)

Qualifications / Job Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience in ED, acute care, or a relevant clinical setting (ER nurse experience preferred)
• Active New Jersey RN License (must be in hand at time of application)
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS
• Flu immunization required unless a valid medical exemption with documentation is provided
• Ability and willingness to float within the Emergency Department as needed
• Professional appearance; any color scrubs acceptable if clean and neat

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, compassionate emergency care to patients across all age groups in the ED
• Perform rapid assessment, triage, and stabilization of acute and critical patients
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary healthcare team
• Respond promptly to emergency situations and perform life-saving interventions as indicated
• Document all patient care activities accurately, timely, and in compliance with hospital policies
• Adhere to patient safety protocols, infection control standards, and departmental procedures
• Maintain flexibility to float within the ED to support staffing needs and patient flow
