• Schedule: Rotating shifts, primarily days, including every other weekend
• Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week

Emergency Room RN Job Requirements

• Active Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) license or eligibility for verification
• At least 1 year of recent emergency room or emergency department nursing experience
• Current clinical credentials required for emergency nursing practice
• Ability to work rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays
• Ability to provide professional references, resume, and skills checklist
• Required immunizations and occupational health clearances must be completed before the assignment start date
• Strong communication, clinical judgment, patient assessment, and emergency response skills

Travel ER Nurse Responsibilities

• Deliver timely, compassionate nursing care to patients presenting with a wide range of emergent and urgent conditions
• Perform focused patient assessments, support emergency department triage, and complete ongoing monitoring and reassessments
• Recognize changes in patient condition and respond appropriately to urgent clinical needs
• Administer medications and treatments safely in accordance with established protocols
• Collaborate with providers and the interdisciplinary healthcare team to coordinate patient care
• Assist with emergency procedures and maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation
• Provide patient and family education, discharge instructions, and follow-up guidance
• Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient emergency care environment
