Description
Pharmacy Logistics Technician
Location: Not specified
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Job Summary:
The Pharmacy Logistics Technician is responsible for ensuring the timely delivery and transport of medications within the hospital. This role includes medication delivery, expiration date inspections, receiver/medication replenishment, cleaning, and retail pharmacy support. The technician will also handle tasks such as investigating and correcting Pyxis MedStation ES malfunctions and performing patient triage at the retail pharmacy. The position requires adherence to pharmaceutical recall protocols and maintaining cleanliness of medication storage areas.
Required Qualifications:
- Experience in pharmacy logistics, medication distribution, or supply chain support
- Basic computer skills, including use of Windows operating system
- High school diploma or GED
- Active PA Pharmacy Technician License
Preferred Qualifications:
- One (1) year of retail or hospital pharmacy experience
Additional Information:
- Interview Type: 1 round onsite panel interviews
- Shift: 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM (Monday to Friday)
