Opportunity:

PT - Acute Inpatient

Job Details:

• Primary shift hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM with occasional shifts from 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM one day per week
• Day shift position with every third weekend required, with Monday and Friday off those weekends
• No holiday requirement
• Treat approximately 12 or more patients per day
• Cover Medical/Surgical, ICU, and ER areas
• Treat patients with general medical/deconditioned conditions, total knee arthroplasty (TKA), total hip arthroplasty (THA), spinal surgery, general orthopedic, and CVA diagnoses
• Acute inpatient physical therapy experience required
• Charting performed using Cerner system
• Dress code requires burgundy polo and scrub or khaki bottoms
• Required certifications: BLS, BLS (AHA), California PT license
• Department-specific orientation provided including general hospital orientation and acclimation in each coverage area
• First to float as needed

This acute care facility provides comprehensive inpatient rehabilitation services across multiple units including Medical/Surgical, ICU, and Emergency Room settings. The facility utilizes Cerner for charting and supports a collaborative rehab team environment. The organization is committed to quality patient care and provides thorough onboarding and orientation to ensure contractors are well-prepared to serve their patient population.
