Opportunity:

PT - Physical Therapy

Job Details:

• Day shift position, 8-hour shifts
• One weekend per month required, with weekdays off to balance
• No on-call responsibilities
• No night shifts
• Required experience: acute care, SNF, and/or inpatient rehab; home health experience also accepted
• Minimum 1 year of current hospital acute care, inpatient rehab, or SNF experience required
• Must be able to work varied day shift hours
• DPT preferred
• BLS certification required
• Provide inpatient care to orthopedic, cardiovascular, neurologic, and general med/surg patient populations
• Schedule determined by surgical volume with weekend and holiday rotation
• Work with equipment including treatment beds, exercise balls, resistance bands, treadmills, and exercise bikes
• EMR system: Meditech
• Dress code: Grey scrubs required

Facility:

This facility is a 472-bed acute care medical/surgical healthcare complex specializing in cardiovascular care, neuroscience, oncology services, orthopedics, bariatrics, and women's services. The inpatient rehab unit consists of 42 beds with an average of 12 staff members per shift, including a director, lead physical therapist, physical and occupational therapists, and assistants. The facility is also a teaching hospital and ranks among the best in the nation.
