Opportunity:
SEASONAL - TRAVEL - RN - L&D (707)
Job Details:
• Work 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Labor and Delivery unit with 19 patient rooms, 6 PACU rooms, 6 triage rooms, and 3 L&D operating rooms
• Patient ratios of 2:1, or 1:1 with complicated patients (estimated, never guaranteed)
• Day shift staffing matrix includes 1 charge nurse and multiple RNs
• Minimum of 1 year of current acute care hospital Labor and Delivery experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, and AWHONN or EFM
• Experience with fetal heart rate monitors including Novii and GE systems required
• Experience with fetal scalp electrodes (FSE) required
• EMR systems used: CPN and Meditech
• Perform vaginal deliveries and C-section deliveries
• Responsible for directing and coordinating all nursing care for labor and delivery patients, postpartum patients, and high-risk antepartum patients
• Deliver care through the nursing process of assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Mom/Baby, Pediatrics, and/or NICU experience preferred
• Must be flexible, friendly, and dependable
