Opportunity:
OT - Occupational Therapist
Job Details:
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• Travel experience required
• First-time travelers not eligible
• California state license required; pending license not accepted
• Scrub color: Navy or Khaki
• BLS certification required
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Treat patients across age groups including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
• Required skills include: acute disorder, chronic disorder, and functional activities
• Preferred skills include: standardized assessments and feeding techniques (oral/motor)
• Additional skills include: acute care, CVA rehabilitation, dementia/Alzheimers, hip fracture and total hip replacement, knee injuries and total knee replacement, lifting and transfer, traumatic brain injury, upper and lower extremity, spinal cord injury, and infection prevention/fall risk assessment
• Small hospital serving a rural area requiring work with generalized populations and diagnoses
• Candidates may be required to float within the hospital or to nearby affiliate facilities
• Must be willing to work 2 out of 3 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year
• Requested time off limited to no more than 7 days; RTO must be submitted at time of presentation
• 50-mile local radius rule applies
• 2 references required covering 1 year within the last 3 years
