Job Details:

• Work 12-hour shifts on weekends in rotation with other staff
• May be asked to work 8-hour shifts during the week in rotation
• Open to 10-hour or 12-hour shifts
• Must have level 1 trauma center experience
• RN experience with scrubbing and/or circulating Neuro, Ortho and Trauma cases required
• Weekend rotation and call at manager's discretion
• Handle nights involving trauma, ortho, neuro, cardiac, and exploratory laparotomy cases
• Scrubbing not required but considered a bonus
• Work in 23-suite operating room with average of 75 cases per day
• BLS certification required
• Travel experience preferred
• Hospital-issued scrubs required for dress code
• Self-scheduling available within reason, block scheduling not guaranteed
• Weeknight/call requirements: 3-4 per 4-week time period
• Weekend/call requirements: 1 shift per 4-week time period
• Call response time: 45 minutes
• No floating requirements
• Use EPIC electronic medical records system
• BSN not required
• All travelers required to take same amount of call as permanent staff
