Amergis Healthcare Staffing is seeking an Operating Room Nurse responsible for scrubbing and/or circulating duties for operative procedures; department admissions to the operative suite.  He/She is responsible to the Nurse Manager and is directly supervised by the RN in the operating rooms to which he/she is assigned.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state in which he/she practices
• Documentation and confirmation of one year of operating room clinical experience in an acute care hospital within the last three years preferred
• Current BLS card.
• Current Health Certificate (if applicable)
• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray

Details: 

• First Contract - no call, no weekends
• Second Contract - one weekend shift (8 hours) with 8 hours of backup call per 6-week schedule
• Third & Future Contracts – 2 Overnight Call Shifts in a 6-week Schedule.
• 15 ORs, including 2 cardiac surgery rooms

Shifts: 

5x8s or 4x10s - 9a-5:30p or 9a-7:30p
