Opportunity:

CT Tech Needed

Job Details:

• Friday through Sunday night shifts
• 13-week contract assignment
• Block scheduling type
• 40 orientation hours
• Minimum 2 years of experience required, 3 years preferred
• First-time travelers are accepted
• Required certifications: ARRT(CT) and BLS
• Epic charting system experience strongly preferred
• Perform CT imaging across a wide range of study types including abdomen, chest, head, pelvis, lumbar, thoracic, sinuses, soft tissue neck, cervical, musculoskeletal trauma, and vascular chest studies
• Perform advanced procedures including brain perfusion, cardiac imaging, CT arthrography, enterography, and intravenous pyelogram studies
• Conduct multiplanar reconstruction (MPR) and 3D rendering techniques including maximum intensity projection, surface shaded displays, and volume rendering
• Perform aspirations, biopsies, and drainage procedures
• Prepare and administer contrast media and perform venipuncture and peripheral IV starts
• Operate Philips iSite/Intellispace PACS system
• Work with patient age groups including infants, adolescents, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
• Participate in biopsy procedures
• Apply radiation safety protocols and isolation precautions/PPE as required
• Float within the facility as needed
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Up to one pre-approved time off request permitted

Facility:

This community hospital facility operates a CT department with 2 dedicated imaging rooms and 100 beds, seeing approximately 20 visits per day. The department is supported by a robust interdisciplinary team including respiratory services, interpretation services, radiology, rapid response teams, transportation, and unit secretarial support. The facility serves a diverse patient population and is equipped with advanced imaging technology to support a wide range of diagnostic and interventional CT procedures.
