Opportunity:
RN - ER
Job Details:
• Work in a high-volume Emergency Department with 101 beds
• Patient ratios typically 4:1 for medical patients, up to 7:1 for ED behavioral holds
• Every other weekend scheduling required; must meet the needs of the department
• No floating outside of the ED, but must be open to floating to all sections within the ED
• Utilize Baxter pumps and GE monitors for patient care
• Document using Cerner electronic health record system
• Follow AIDET communication framework and update patient boards throughout each visit
• Maintain respectful behavior and deliver a positive patient experience for each patient
• Wear navy scrubs as required uniform
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required with at least 1 year in an ER setting
• Previous experience in a Level II trauma center, comprehensive stroke center, or high-volume ED (100,000+ visits) preferred
• Must demonstrate teamwork mentality and ability to coach and give real-time feedback
• Flexibility to work in all areas of the ED required
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, TNCC, CPI, NIHSS before start date; ENPC within 90 days of hire
