Opportunity:

RN - OR

Job Details:

• Serve as a circulator in the operating room with a 1:1 patient ratio
• On-call required: 1-2 days per weekdays and 1-2 weekends per month depending on rotation
• Weekends not routinely required outside of call rotation
• Block scheduling type
• Will not float between units
• 48-hour shifts are not approved
• Top three service lines: general, gynecology, and orthopedics
• Knowledge and skills required in orthopedic, general, gynecology, and podiatry procedures
• Perform and assist with a wide range of surgical procedures including total joint replacements, laparoscopic procedures, hysterectomies, appendectomies, cholecystectomies, hernia repairs, arthroscopies, and more
• Care for patient age groups including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
• Work in a 5-room OR with a daily census of approximately 6 patients
• Interdisciplinary support available including physical therapy, respiratory services, radiology, pharmacy, and interpretation services
• Scrub color: Navy (all RNs)
• Free parking available in any unrestricted space
• Charting system: Epic (required experience)
• Travel experience required
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• Compact license must be in hand at time of submission
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS
• Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
• 2 references required covering 1 year within the last 3 years, completed during the compliance process and prior to start

This short-term acute care facility operates with 61 total staffed beds and features a fully equipped operating room with 5 rooms. The facility provides comprehensive interdisciplinary support services including physical therapy, respiratory services, radiology, pharmacy, and interpretation services. The surgical program focuses on general, gynecological, and orthopedic service lines, offering a wide range of procedures in a collaborative and well-supported environment.
