Opportunity:
OR LIC Vascular US Tech
Job Details:
• Vascular ultrasound technologist (RVT) position with a 1:1 patient ratio
• Daily census of 8-10 patients per technologist
• On-call required once a week
• Saturday weekend shifts with call as needed approximately every 6 weeks
• Block schedules are not required
• Position does not float between units
• Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
• A vehicle is required for this assignment
• Serves patient age groups including neonates, infants, adolescents, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
• Proficiency with Phillips EPIQ ultrasound machine, Parks Flo-Lab, and Dolphin TCD machine required
• Epic charting system experience preferred
• Scrub color: Any color; OR/Cath Lab scrubs are provided
• At least 1 year of recent prior experience in vascular ultrasound required
• Oregon state license required (OBMI)
• Required certifications: ARDMS RVT, BLS, CCI RVS, OBMI — must be obtained 2 weeks before start date
• Required skills include: Adult, Aorta, Arterial Mapping, Carotid, Color Flow, Doppler Studies, Duplex, Lower Extremity Arterial and Venous, Upper Extremity Arterial and Venous, Renal Artery Duplex, Stents, Transcranial Doppler, Dialysis Grafts, Portables, and more
Facility:
This short-term acute care teaching hospital operates with 536 total staffed beds and provides a comprehensive range of medical services across multiple units. The facility utilizes Epic for charting and offers interdisciplinary support including interpretation services, rapid response teams, and transportation. Parking is available at no cost to staff.
