Job Description
Variable times for Day/Swing shift
Time anywhere from 07:00 to 01:00
Shift
Variable times for Swing/Graveyard
Time anywhere from 12:00-05:30
Education:
? Bachelor?s degree in Sonography is preferred
Experience:
? Four years of experience as an Ultrasound Tech
- Travel experience
- Must have ability to perform OB ultrasound
Licenses/ Certification/ Registration:
? BLS from the AHA required
? Must have an active Sonography license with the Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI). License can either be permanent or temporary.
? Must be registered with the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) in both Abdomen and OB/GYN
Special knowledge, skills, & abilities:
? Must be capable of operating state of the art ultrasound equipment, computer systems, film processors and other supportive devices.
? Must possess interpersonal skills and the ability to interact positively in a team environment.
? Must demonstrate empathy and compassion for patients, families, visitors, and co-workers.
