Opportunity:

CT Tech - Emergency Department

Job Details:

• Weekend schedule: Saturday, Sunday, and Monday — no weekend RTO permitted
• 2 x 12-hour night shifts: 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM on Saturday and Sunday
• 1 x 12-hour evening shift: 5:00 PM to 5:00 AM on Monday
• 36 hours available per week
• No call requirement and no float requirement
• Daily caseload of 150–200 scans across 4 rooms
• Very fast-paced environment in the emergency department
• Perform CT scans on routine ED patients, Code Stroke cases, and some trauma patients
• CT procedure experience required: Abdomen, Pelvis, Head/Neck, Chest, Spine, Musculoskeletal, Brain Perfusion, CTAs, and Multiplanar Reconstruction
• Must be proficient with GE and Siemens FORCE scanners (Siemens S3000 and Sequoia)
• Must have experience in Inpatient, ER, and Adult ICU settings
• Preferred experience: Outpatient, IV Starts, PACS, Contrast administration, and Visage
• Charting systems used: EPIC and Visage
• Scrubs not provided — Royal Blue required
• Treat patients across all age groups: Infants, Pediatrics, Adolescents, Adults, and Geriatrics
• Minimum 2 years of CT Tech experience required
• Must have experience in a 500+ bed hospital
• First-time travelers accepted
• Required certifications: BLS, ARRT(R)(CT)

Facility:

This is a large 650-bed healthcare facility that has recently achieved Level II Trauma designation. The emergency department operates around the clock with multiple CT technologists on staff across shifts, ranging from 4–5 techs on first shift to 1 tech on overnight shifts. The facility utilizes advanced imaging technology including Siemens FORCE scanners and maintains high patient volume with 150–200 daily scans.
