Opportunity:

RN - Med/Surg

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Med Surg Ortho unit with 29 beds with overflow capacity up to 39 beds
• Patient ratio of 5:1
• Day shift staffing includes a charge nurse, 8 RNs, and an ACT from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM
• Work with remote telemetry equipment
• Use Meditech electronic medical records system
• Care for post-operative surgical patients
• Administer cardiac drips including amiodarone, diltiazem, and heparin drips
• Minimum 1 year of current Med/Surg RN acute care experience required
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification preferred
• Prior Meditech experience preferred
