Job Details:

• Acute care position with floating between units required
• Block schedules required
• Weekends required on a fluctuating basis, anticipated 2-4 shifts per month
• No on-call required
• Must commit to working 3 of the 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
• Patients served are adults with a daily census of 180
• Charting system: Epic (experience preferred)
• Scrub color: Any color; OR/Cath Lab scrubs are provided
• No parking fee
• Minimum 1 year of acute care experience required
• Trauma Level I and Trauma Level II experience preferred
• Required certifications: BLS and valid state license (compact license must be in hand at submission)
• Interdisciplinary support available including IV Teams, Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Interpretation Services, Phlebotomy, Radiology, Social Services, Rapid Response Teams, Pharmacy, Transportation, Unit Secretary, and more
• May be expected to float between sister facilities nearby contracted facility
• 2 references required covering 1 year within the last 3 years

This is a short-term acute care teaching hospital with 536 total staff beds and 400 unit beds. The facility offers a comprehensive interdisciplinary support system and utilizes Epic for charting. The organization maintains high standards of patient care and supports a collaborative environment with a wide range of specialty services available to staff and patients alike.
